 Pollen

Pollen consists of the male reproductive cells of flowers and plants.Bees collect this pollen as food concentrate for themselves and for the young larvae. Beekeepers and specialists of the trade, who have already known about its beneficial qualities for a long time, collect it for human consumption.

Apart from 30% carbohydrates, pollen mainly consists of proteins, half of which in the form of amino acids, which our body badly needs but is unable to produce on its own.  A spoonful of pollen a day (10g) meets our daily need of amino acids. Pollen furthermore contains all kinds of vitamins, minerals and antibiotic substances. The latter act as bactericide in the intestinal flora. Both in case of diarrhoea and constipation.

Pollen works.

For this reason the diet of many sportsmen includes pollen. Sometimes hay fever patients also benefit from the use of pollen.

Pollen looks like colourful grains ready to be eaten.

It not only regulates the intestinal system, but is also used as a restorative against fatigue in the entire world because of its high vitamin content.

It is easy to determine the flower of origin of the pollen under the microscope. Each flower has its own unique pattern, so that the pollen grain is, as it were, a fingerprint of the flower it comes from.

As most pollen originates from different flowers, the grains all have a different colour.

Pollen can usually be bought ready-to-eat in 200g jars. One jar suffices for a 21-day treatment.

Usage tips:  Pollen is dried before being packaged. You should therefore always keep the jar well closed during use.  Use 1 full tablespoon a day during at least 1 month. If you do not like the taste, mix it with some honey or jam.
