What is it?
Royal jelly is a milky white paste secreted by young worker bees between the fifth and fifteenth day of their short life. The newborn bee larvae are fed with it during one day. The queen gets it during her entire life. Hence the name royal jelly.
This special substance ensures that bee larvae are fully grown in a matter of days. The results for the queen are even more impressive. She lives a number of years, instead of a number of weeks, the life span of worker bees. In summer she lays her own weight in eggs every day. A remarkable performance at the very least.
What is it composed of?
Royal jelly is concentrated highly nutritional food that consists of:
· proteins (in the form of free amino acids)
· sugars (glucose and fructose)
· fatty acids
· vitamins: B1 – B2 – B3 – B5 – B6 – B8 – B9 – B12, complemented with A – C – D – E in small quantities.
· minerals and oligominerals: calcium, copper, iron, phosphor, potassium, and magnesium.
When to use?
Royal jelly is used by everyone who can temporarily use some additional strength. Both physically and mentally: young mothers, convalescents, students, everyone who is a bit exhausted.
There is no risk of addiction: it is therefore possible to follow several successive treatments. The dosage is nevertheless calculated so as to achieve an optimal result.
