Listening with interest to the bee fairy.

 

Is there anyone who has not had a school trip to Meli Park ?

 

Practically every child that attended primary school after World War 2 visited Meli Park at least once.

 

For many it was their first experience with “a full-day trip”.

 

The trip always included an instructive aspect: a bee camp, the De Panne nature reserve, the polders or the Port of Nieuwpoort etc.
