Ingredients

    For the cupcakes
  • 125 g unsalted butter
  • 125 g dark brown sugar
  • 50 g chocolate drips (white or milk)
  • 2 ts milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g self-raising flour
  • 1 ts baking powder
  • grated orange peel

  • For the honey-butter cream
  • 125 g unsalted butter
  • 75 ml Meli honey
  • 75 ml sour cream
  • 2 ts extract of vanilla

  • For the bees
  • 100 g yellow coverpaste
  • 50 g zwarte rolfondant
  • 12 buttons of white chocolate
  • Black marker with edible ink

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Fill your muffinplate with cupcake wrappers.

Step 2

Mix in a big bowl the butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs, orange grid, milk, chocolate drips, the flower and the baking powder. Stir well till it's a smooth mixture.

Step 3

Divide the mixture over the cupcake wrappers and bake them goldbrown in 15 to 20 minutes in the oven.

Step 4

Mix the honey and butter for the frosting with a mixer. Add while stirring the sour cream and the vanilla extract.

Step 5

Put the honey buttercream in a piping bag and make a pretty tuft on the cupcakes.

Step 6

Make with the yellow cover little oval balls. Brake two pieces of the black cover and roll there around the yellow oval balls, so you get two black stripes around it. Cut the chocolate buttons in two and place them on the cover paste like the wings of the bees. Draw a face on the bees with the black marker.

Step 7

Put a bee on every cupcake and voila: enjoy your little masterpieces.
